Some of the most empowering experiences that we have are those that build our confidence and help us see what we are truly capable of. These experiences can come in many shapes and forms, some planned and others not. The one defining characteristic is that they will alter your path forever.
My take on coaching is that it is a conscious choice to create change in your life and requires a commitment from you. They will watch your back and help you navigate the pitfalls of change as well as teach you tools so that when times get tough, you can remind yourself that it will all be worthwhile. It is easy to fall into the inertia of our day-to-day existence, whether we are happy and satisfied, or not. If you know deep down that you want to change your life but are not quite sure how, then a coach just may help to show you. What I learned from this interview is that the answers in life are normally there within us; it is just that sometimes we need a little help to find them.
